Message from the Chief

 

 

Welcome to the Metropolitan Safety and Security.  As Chief, I am honored to serve your community by offering the best in Security and Safety services, alongside the outstanding men and women of this Company.  Securing your Schools, Businesses, and Properties is founded upon the tenets of Community Policing.  We genuinely believe that in order to create and maintain a safe community, we must develop an interdependent relationship with those we serve.  Doing so ensures that we can deliver exceptional service to our clients alike.  Sir Robert Peel, the father of modern policing described the importance of this relationship this way when, in 1829 he said:

The Police are the public, the public are the Police.
The Police are the only members of the public who are paid to give full time attention to duties that are incumbent upon every citizen in the interest of community welfare and existence.

As a Company, we recognize the responsibilities and obligations that come with donning the badge and will honor the clients trust that has been bestowed upon us.  Our goal is to deliver service to everyone we encounter in a fair, equitable, humane, and compassionate manner, regardless of their station in life.

As Chief, I am committed to creating innovative approaches to delivering security and public safety service.  We will strive to use technology in our crime prevention strategy.  We will utilize social media, among other means, to stay connected to those we serve.  Opportunities to gain efficiencies and improve service through shared services will be explored with our local law enforcement partners.  In essence, we will be open to new ways of doing business in order that we may better serve the community.
